Description

A decadent dessert combining rich brownie chunks, cherry-infused cookie dough, and a dark chocolate coating for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus required ingredients)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate, melted for coating
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownies according to package instructions, let cool completely, then cut into small chunks.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add flour and cocoa powder, stirring until a thick dough forms. Fold in chopped cherries and dark chocolate chips.
  4. Take a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten slightly, place a brownie chunk in the center, and wrap dough around it to form a ball. Repeat with remaining dough and brownies.
  5. Freeze dough balls for 30 minutes to firm up. Dip each ball into melted dark chocolate, then roll in sprinkles or dust with cocoa powder.
  6. Place on parchment paper and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour, before serving.
