Description

A moist chocolate cake with holes poked and filled with marshmallow cream, topped with fluffy frosting for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus required ingredients: eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare chocolate cake mix as directed on box and bake in a 9×13-inch pan until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 28-32 minutes.
  2. Let cake cool for 10 minutes. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake, about 1 inch apart.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together marshmallow cream and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Pour mixture over cake, spreading to fill holes.
  4. In another bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread whipped cream frosting over cake.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set. Garnish with chocolate sprinkles if desired before serving.
