Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon slices, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat cod fillets dry and place in the baking dish. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Pour the butter sauce over the cod fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
