Description

A protein-packed, creamy baked egg dish with cottage cheese, perfect for a healthy breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or ramekin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cottage cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until eggs are set and the top is lightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped chives, and let cool slightly before serving.
