Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Crusty bread, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Slowly pour in the extra virgin olive oil while stirring to blend all ingredients evenly.
- Add the balsamic vinegar and mix well to incorporate.
- Let the dip sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve in a shallow dish with slices of crusty bread for dipping.
