Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Slowly whisk in the extra virgin olive oil until well blended.
- Stir in the balsamic vinegar and Parmesan cheese (if using) until incorporated.
- Let the dip sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve with sliced crusty bread, focaccia, or breadsticks for dipping.
