Description

Perfectly seared scallops served with a bright and tangy lime cilantro sauce, creating a light yet flavorful dish ideal for a quick gourmet meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh sea scallops, patted dry
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated lime zest


Instructions

  1. Pat scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, lime zest, and cilantro to make the sauce.
  4. Drizzle the sauce over the scallops or serve on the side for dipping.
