Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh sea scallops, patted dry
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated lime zest
Instructions
- Pat scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, lime zest, and cilantro to make the sauce.
- Drizzle the sauce over the scallops or serve on the side for dipping.
