Description
Elegant, bite-sized appetizers featuring creamy Brie cheese coated in crunchy pistachios and drizzled with a sweet-tart raspberry honey glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) wheel of Brie cheese, chilled
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon water
- Fresh raspberries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the chilled Brie into 1-inch cubes. Dredge each cube in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in chopped pistachios. Place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is soft and pistachios are lightly toasted.
- While baking, combine raspberry preserves, honey, and water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Arrange baked Brie bites on a serving platter. Drizzle with raspberry honey glaze and garnish with fresh raspberries and mint if desired. Serve warm.
