Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita bread rounds
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup diced tomato
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, dill, and lemon zest to make the sauce.
- Warm the pita bread in a dry skillet or microwave for 20-30 seconds until pliable.
- Assemble wraps by spreading yogurt sauce on each pita, then topping with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, cooked chicken, and feta cheese.
- Fold or roll the pita around the fillings and serve immediately.
