Description
A classic Greek village salad featuring fresh vegetables, tangy feta cheese, and a simple olive oil dressing.
Ingredients
- 4 large ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 cucumber, sliced into thick half-moons
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced into rings
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 200g block of feta cheese
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash and chop all vegetables as specified, placing them in a large salad bowl.
- Add the Kalamata olives to the bowl and gently toss the ingredients together.
- Place the block of feta cheese on top of the salad, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and salt, and serve immediately.
