Description

A delightful appetizer featuring flaky puff pastry wrapped around creamy feta, baked until golden, and drizzled with a sweet-tart cranberry honey sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz block feta cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal rectangles. Place a slice of feta in the center of each, season with pepper, and roll up tightly, sealing edges.
  3. Brush each roll with egg wash, place on the baking sheet, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While baking, combine cranberries, honey, and water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until cranberries burst and sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Remove rolls from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with cranberry honey sauce and sprinkle with thyme before serving.
