Description
Tender cod strips pan-seared in a rich garlic butter sauce, served with a zesty sweet chili lime dipping sauce for a quick and flavorful seafood dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Pat the cod strips dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then lightly coat in flour.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cod strips and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return cod strips to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for an additional minute.
- In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce and lime juice. Serve cod strips with the sauce drizzled on top or on the side, garnished with cilantro.
