Description

Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon and herbs, perfect for a quick yet elegant meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Arrange scallops in a single layer in the baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until scallops are opaque and cooked through.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
