Description

A delightful appetizer featuring tender artichoke hearts coated in a crispy, cheesy breadcrumb and Parmesan crust, baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease with olive oil.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, and salt.
  3. Dip each artichoke heart into the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Arrange the coated artichoke hearts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
