Description

A decadent pasta dish featuring succulent shrimp in a rich, creamy garlic sauce with a hint of spice, perfect for a special dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook linguine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Return shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  5. Add cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing everything together until well combined. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
