Description

A protein-packed, creamy twist on classic avocado toast, featuring smooth cottage cheese and ripe avocado on toasted whole-grain bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole-grain bread, toasted
  • 1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or microgreens for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Toast the whole-grain bread until golden and crisp.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky, as preferred.
