Ingredients
- 2 slices whole-grain bread, toasted
- 1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
- 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)
- Fresh cilantro or microgreens for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Toast the whole-grain bread until golden and crisp.
- In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky, as preferred.
