Description
A creamy, tangy whipped feta dip topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and a spicy honey drizzle, perfect for holiday gatherings or appetizer spreads.
Ingredients
- 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
- Crackers or toasted bread for serving
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens slightly, about 10 minutes. Let cool.
- In another small saucepan, warm honey over low heat. Stir in red pepper flakes and let infuse for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Spread the whipped feta in a shallow dish. Top with the cranberry sauce, then drizzle with the hot honey. Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately with crackers or toasted bread.
