Description
A flaky, golden puff pastry filled with creamy artichokes, melted cheese, and fresh herbs, perfect as an appetizer or light meal.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix artichokes, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, dill, garlic, cream cheese, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the artichoke mixture evenly over half of the pastry, leaving a border.
- Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and press edges with a fork to seal. Brush the top with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
