Description

A savory-sweet tart featuring creamy brie, tart cranberries, crunchy walnuts, and a spicy honey drizzle, perfect for appetizers or a light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick with a fork.
  2. Arrange brie slices evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with cranberries and walnuts. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fold edges of pastry over the filling to create a crust. Brush edges with egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While baking, heat honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat until warm and infused. Drizzle over tart after baking. Garnish with thyme and serve warm.
