Description

A gourmet twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring creamy brie, sweet blackberry jam, and buttery sourdough bread for a perfect sweet-savory combination.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup blackberry jam
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)


Instructions

  1. Spread blackberry jam evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Layer brie slices on top of the jam on half of the bread slices, then sprinkle with thyme if using. Top with the remaining bread slices, jam-side down.
  3. Butter the outer sides of each sandwich with softened butter.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
