Description
A warm, elegant dessert or appetizer featuring sweet baked pears stuffed with creamy brie, crunchy walnuts, and tart dried cranberries, drizzled with honey.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe but firm pears (such as Bosc or Anjou), halved and cored
- 4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place pear halves cut-side up in the baking dish. Brush the cut surfaces with melted butter.
- In a small bowl, mix brie, walnuts, cranberries, cinnamon, and salt. Divide the mixture among the pear halves, pressing gently into the cores.
- Drizzle honey over each stuffed pear. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until pears are tender and brie is melted.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
